【摘要】:TheEuropeanreferencedatamodelforpublictransportisanoffertopublictransportcompaniesandotherprovidersofservicesrelatedtotheprocessofpassengertransportationandinformation,tosuppliersofsoftwareproductssupportingtheseprocesses,andtoconsultantsandotherexpertsactinginthefieldofpublictransportinthewidestsense.Thereferencedatamodelcansupportthedevelopmentofsoftwareapplications,theirinteractionorcombinationinanintegratedinformationsystem,andthesystem‘sorganisationandinformationmanagementwhichrulestheutilisationoftheexistingtelematicsenvironmentinacompany(orgroupofcompanies)runningcomputerapplicationssupportingthedifferentfunctionalareasofpublictransport.Althoughprimarilydesignedtodocumenttheinformationneedsofapublictransportcompanyinawelldefinedandstructuredway,thereferencedatamodelcanalsoserveasastartingpointandreferenceforthedefinitionofadatabaseschema.Adatabaseschemaisneededforthephysicalimplementationofdatastoragesystemstobeusedbyapplicationsdirectly,orforexchangeofdatabetweenapplicationsviainterfaces.Apartfromthat,suchadatabasewilloftenadditionallybeusedasasourceofinformationforthecompanymanagementand/orasaninformationpoolforallemployeeswhomayneedaccesstotheinformationbasisofthecompany.
