MIL-STD-188/212, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE INTERFACE STANDARD: SUBSYSTEM DESIGN AND ENGINEERING STANDARDS FOR TACTICAL DIGITAL INFORMATION LINK (TADIL) B (17 OCT 1992)., The purpose of this document is to establish technicalstandards and design objectives that are necessary to ensure interoperabilityand to promote commonality for communications equipment and subsystems usedin TADIL B. Also, this document established acceptable overall subsystemperformance and maximum flexibility of subsystem layout in order to satisfydiverse user requirements without the restrictions caused by interface andincompatibility problems.
