【摘要】:Themeasurementofparticle-bound,oxidized,elemental,andtotalmercuryinstationary-sourcefluegasesprovidesdatathatcanbeusedfordispersionmodeling,depositionevaluation,humanhealthandenvironmentalimpactassessments,emissionreporting,compliancedeterminations,etc.Particle-bound,oxidized,andelementalmercurymeasurementsbeforeandaftercontroldevicesmaybenecessaryforoptimizingandevaluatingthemercuryremovalefficiencyofemissioncontroltechnologies.1.1Thismethodappliestothedeterminationofelemental,oxidized,particle-bound,andtotalmercuryemissionsfromcoal-firedstationarysources.1.2Thismethodisapplicabletoelemental,oxidized,particle-bound,andtotalmercuryconcentrationsrangingfromapproximately0.5to100x03BC;g/Nm3.1.3Thismethoddescribesequipmentandproceduresforobtainingsamplesfromeffluentductsandstacks,equipmentandproceduresforlaboratoryanalysis,andproceduresforcalculatingresults.1.4Thismethodisapplicableforsamplingelemental,oxidized,andparticle-boundmercuryinfluegasesofcoal-firedstationarysources.Itmaynotbesuitableatallmeasurementlocations,particularlythosewithhighparticulateloadings,asexplainedinSection17.1.5Methodapplicabilityislimitedtofluegasstreamtemperatureswithinthethermalstabilityrangeofthesamplingprobeandfiltercomponents.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7ThisstandardassumesusersarefamiliarwithEPAstack-gassamplingproceduresasstatedinEPAMethods1x2013;4,Method5,andMethod17.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
