【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensions,workmanship,elongation,impactresistance,pipestiffness,perforations,andmarkingsforsteelreinforcedcorrugatedpolyethylene(PE)pipingsystemsofnominalsizes8in.(200mm),through80in.(2000mm).Thesteelreinforcedpolyethylenepipesgovernedbythisstandardareintendedforuseinundergroundapplicationswheresoilprovidessupportfortheirflexiblewalls.Thesepipeswillbeusedtocollectorconveystormwaterrunoffforstormsewersanddrainagepipes,orboth.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
