【摘要】:ISO22718:2006givesgeneralguidelinesforthedetectionandidentificationofthespecifiedmicro-organismStaphylococcusaureusincosmeticproducts.Micro-organismsconsideredasspecifiedinthisInternationalStandardmightdifferfromcountrytocountryaccordingtonationalpracticesorregulations.Inordertoensureproductqualityandsafetyforconsumers,itisadvisabletoperformanappropriatemicrobiologicalriskanalysistodeterminethetypesofcosmeticproducttowhichISO22718:2006isapplicable.Productsconsideredtopresentalowmicrobiologicalriskincludethosewithlowwateractivity,hydro-alcoholicproducts,extremepHvalues,etc.ThemethoddescribedinISO22718:2006isbasedonthedetectionofStaphylococcusaureusinanon-selectiveliquidmedium(enrichmentbroth),followedbyisolationonaselectiveagarmedium.Othermethodsmaybeappropriatedependentonthelevelofdetectionrequired.Becauseofthelargevarietyofcosmeticproductswithinthisfieldofapplication,thismethodmaynotbeappropriateforsomeproductsineverydetail(e.g.certainwaterimmiscibleproducts).OtherInternationalStandards(ISO18415)maybeappropriate.Othermethods(e.g.automated)maybesubstitutedforthetestspresentedhereprovidedthattheirequivalencehasbeendemonstratedorthemethodhasbeenotherwisevalidated.
