【摘要】:Vibrationencounteredinthefieldisusuallyrandominnatureandthistestcanbeusedtodeterminetheeffectsofrandomexcitationonthemembraneswitch.Randomvibrationcancausemechanicalfatigueandfailurebyswitchcomponentseitherlooseningorotherwisechangingovertime.Experiencehasshownthatthistestwillexposepotentialfailuresassociatedwiththeelectroniccomponentsofamembraneswitch,wheretestsoflowerlevelswillnot.Thispracticecanbeusedtoqualifyamembraneswitchforaerospace,medicalandotherapplications.Thistestispotentiallydestructive,intendedfordevicequalification.1.1Thistestmethodestablishesproceduresfordeterminingtheeffectofrandomvibration,withinthespecifiedfrequencyrange,onswitchcontacts,mountinghardware,adheredcomponentparts,solderorheatstakes,tactiledevices,andcableorribboninterconnectsassociatedwithamembraneswitchormembraneswitchassembly.
